Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Food really is authentic and excellant quality. My appitizer was cooked right at the table by the owner! This is not a fast food restaurant so don't expect to be in and out within an hour! service is very friendly and the restaurant has a real family run feel to it. Will look forward to visiting again soon!

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended My wife is 100% portuguese and felt the service was great and very personable. And the food was the best we had in a long time. We were on vacation and we were looking for a portuguese restaurant and was pleased to find this place. The owners Fernando & Maria were great we didn't order this but Maria came out and asked when was the last time we ate bacalhao I may be spelling this wrong but they were great and no we were not charged.The next time we came back was three days later. They had a buffet for a private party of about 20 people on one side of the restaurant and had the other side open to regular customers. Now this is a family owned business and they were very busy and we felt that they did a great job keeping up. The food we had on this 2nd day came out in a timely maner and was hot and very tasty. Top of the Line - Highly Recommended This is one of my favorite resturants in Palm Coast. It has a relaxing fine dining atmosphere where you never feel rushed. The owners are delightful. My favorite dishes are the Lisbon Shrimp and the Red Snappe.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Great service, very friendly and informative. Food was excellent. Highly recommed the pork chops. The best fried potatos and veggies. Moved here in Sept and have been twice will go back often.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Food is solidly and regularly 4 star, but the staff, entertainment when there, and price to value are all tops, hence our rating. We stop here EVERY year we come down to Florida on biz and often on the way back. After our second visit, we were welcomed as regulars. Wow. 12 months in between. There is no way anyone could give a one star and I suspect they've got a stalker. The mixed seafood for two is extraordinary. Generous. varied, and hard to get all elements what properly cooked.

Well Done - Would Use Again Our family met for dinner last night at this central location in Palm Coast. We have met twice before at another chain restaurant and were looking for something different. Not familiar with the area and with a celebration planned, the Taste of Portugal was recommended through a work associate. We were personally greeted and seated by Fernando and Maria. From the bread basket, appetizers and dinner, to dessert and a port wine toast, everyone in our family was very pleased. Both food and service were great. We were all still talking about it today. Various dishes were ordered and all served hot and plated beautifully. We enjoyed the Clams TOP, Shrimp Garlic and Shrimp Lisbon with the clams being my favorite. Entree selections for our group were Paella, Red Snapper Estoril, Stuffed Lobster, Garlic Chicken, Grilled Steak and Chicken Parmesan. We welcomed the relaxed, quieter atmosphere with the personal attention. We look forward to meeting there again.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended This restraurant is outstanding. I loved the food and staff. Service was wonderful and food was served timely and delicious. I had not had portuguese food in months and I missed it horribly. I had gone to many portuguese restraurants in Miami and its NOT the typical food, it was brazilian. Which is good food but not the same. I have been back several times and every item is authentic and delicious. KUDOS to the chef. The owners are incredibly friendly and kind. It is always a pleasure to go back and see them. Highly recommended if you love portuguese food or if you are willing to try some great food.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! I hate writing a negative review about a restaurant in these hard times. My wife and I were eager to try something new and we are very easy to please. Unfortunately this just didn't work out. It took one hour for our salads to arrive, which consisted of nothing more than a small piece of of lettuce with a drizzle of ranch dressing. I ordered the seafood platter. I asked them if it could come any other way than fried and they had no idea what I was talking about (broiled? grilled?). And so it came, a dozen pieces of seafood floating on a bed of oil. Not my kind of food. I had the squirts for three days. My wife's dish was equally unimpressive. It is amazing a place like this still exists. Then again, there were only two other tables seated during this 120 minute ordeal. No wonder.

Maria and her Husband are so very nice the place is very very clean and the food is always hot. Im very portuguese and there food tastes just like it does in portugal with a touch of american . Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Fantastic! Had lunch there today and felt like I had discovered a hidden gem in Palm Coast. The decor is very nice (linen table cloth/napkins, etc.) and the service was outstanding. I ordered garlic shrimp/rice and the portion was HUGE. It came with a bowl of shrimp (about 20 of them!) swimming in garlic and butter accompanied by a plate of yellow rice. There was definitely enough to share, or bring home for a snack later (for only $10.95!). The waitress (may have been an owner) could not have made us feel more at home.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Forget the rumors, try it yourself. The food is outstanding! The vegetables are seasoned to perfection, the fish is always fresh. The atmosphere at lunch time is quiet and casual. Just the way I like it. Maria and Fernando are two wonderful people with hearts of gold. Without knowing us, they treated us like old friends. We keep hearing about the Friday latin night and the special first Saturday of each month, Grown and Sexy night, Club TOP, can't wait to check those out also.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended We have been coming here for a number of months whenever we have some special thing to celebrate - a birthday, Mother's Day, etc. It is a two hour drive for us to get here, so we must really like this place. The food has always been outstanding, both great quality and enough to take home some for leftovers. They have a very good selection of excellent Portuguese wines at reasonable prices. The staff is great - personable, helpful, everything one could ask for. I think they did have a minor personell problem six months or so ago, but that has been taken care of and the service is now great. We have tried almost everything on the menu, both at lunch and at dinner, as well as the specials - everything has been excellent.

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk I must say that the manager or owner with the white hair was not pleasant at all. Last night my sister and I went to check the place out; to our surprise the manger told us that the waitress does not start until 11:30pm; mind you I had to approach him to inquire if someone was going to set the table and bring us water. To make a long story short we ended up leaving and eating elsewhere. But, the d.j. that was playing music was OUTSTANDING, we ended up going back for a drink and to listen to more music. If anyone wants to go out and dance some place locally; this is the spot, without question. They play latin music and it was GREAT. The only reason that I would ever return is simply because of the d.j. and the type of music that he plays. Good job D.j. Tito we needed someone like you in Palm Coas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend this place for a night of dancing :-)

Well Done - Would Use Again I was very impressed with the decor when my parents and I first entered the restaurant. It was very early (4:00pm) on a weekday and we were the only customers. The waitress was prompt and friendly. My mom and I ordered the shrimp. They were huge and delicious! (But a little messy...shirts were splattered with butter when all was said and done..if you order the shrimp, wear a bib!) My father ordered a pork dish and enjoyed every bite. The portions were huge. We plan on eating there again.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! Absolutely horrible. The management was the worst. We went in with the whole family, kids, mothers, mother in law. The waitress took our drink order and came back and knocked me in the head with the tray and the whole tray of drinks fell on me and my mother in law. I was completely soaked. The waitress felt bad, but the nasty lady in charge was rude, she didn't even care. The food we all felt was horrible. The management didn't even offer to by my dinner or my mother in laws. The whole experience was a nightmare, my little girls were crying. The owner lady or manager got into an agrument with my mother in law because her white pants were distroyed with soda. I will NEVER go there again. The management is horrible, food is horrible, BUYERS BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Done - Would Use Again I had a great time at taste of portugal. Me and my husband came to eat for the first time on saturday night and it was fantastic. The food was better than most of the other restaurants in the area. The band played very well, not only were they good but they were funny too. My waiter was so professional, he made me feel like we were his only priority, which you dont get very often anymore. All in all Im glad to have such a great restaurant in town. Me and my husband are always looking for a classy, eventful place to dine in on the weekends and this is it.
