Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk     After multiple problems right off the bat, I finally had "normal" viewing that lasted about a month before the next problem of no service appeared on my screen. I wont even get into what happened when I innocently moved my comp. into a different room and rendered it useless by doing so. Was told the box they put in my garage attic had to be moved.. seriously!! Anyway, as I have Digital TV's in my home, and every single one of them have been hooked up right to the cable line without extra boxes and controllers, I had questioned BH why then would I need to PAY any amount of $ for digital adapters IF my TV's are all Digital. Here's the kicker.. Tech tells me that I wouldn't need the adapters then.. A month after not having them, I end up seeing no service on my screen again. So much for not needing Digital adapters for my Digital TV's. which leaves me with the question... Why should I be paying anything extra when it's not my Digital TV's with a problem, but more of a BH problem?

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware!     GARBAGE !!! The equipment is junk! Service is disturbing! I am having issues with my internet modem, and my HD dvr cable box. Yesterday I called the service number and a charming woman said a tech would be out between 1000-1200. At 1600 when I had to leave still no tech. This morning I tried to call the service number and it wouldn't connect. I turned on my tv and the cable box is in an infinite application download, it will not boot up. HERE'S THE KICKER Ladies and Gents! I went on the internet and used a chat window with service because my phone doesn't work(Brighthouse). The woman stated to me that service man #1 said he came to the house and fixed the problem! Service man #2 said I cancelled the appointment. I didn't leave the house until 1600 and by that time both of my sons were back home from school, and shortly after my Wife was here! Do not trust these jerks, watch them close while they are in your home. Any 2 employees that would outright lie have no moral character!!!

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk     When it's working, it's great.   When it's not working, good luck getting it to work. Three days in a row, waking up at 6am to no service. Each time, calling Bright House customer service to go through the same process of rebooting the cable box, taking the battery out of the cable modem, and waiting.   Getting told a "tech" will be out between (fill in the blank).    Service restores every time between 9:30 and 10am. Tech shows up, can't find anything wrong and everything is working. Says "you need to have me here when the problem exists, not after it's gone."   But Bright House only schedules you in the afternoon or evening. "Yeah, that's a problem." So ..... here I sit ... three days in a row. Now have an appointment for a tech on Sunday morning "between 8am and 10am." We'll see.    DirecTV and ATT DSL is looking better and better every day.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware!     Service outage almost everyday. Customer service might as well be non existant. Cable constantly goes out, internet service interupted, and phone lines are dead. I've been trying to cancel my service for the past 2 days but I can't get a hold of a customer service rep. Phone lines are either busy or I get disconnected. I rely on the phone line and internet for my business as well as home. I can't do my job without the internet and my credit card machine is down when the phone lines are out. Unacceptable. They still expect me to pay the bill even if the service is out.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended     When needing to program my new remote, I called Brighhouse Customer Support and received outstanding service from Shannon in less than 5 minutes. The service experience was quick and accurate!

Well Done - Would Use Again     I haven't had any problems with Brighthouse over the past three years that I have had them. I just had to call them regarding some static problems and they couldn't have been nicer.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware!     Brighthouse has even worse service than that rendered under their actual name, Cox. If packaging the same business under a different name to deceive the consumer isn't unethical enough, then try constant rudeness, lies, repeated malfunctions and failures to compensate or correct problems in any meaningful way. They offered me a 23-cent discount. I am on the phone with them several times a month to report problems. They send out repairmen who never show when they are supposed to, and when they do, they replace my box with another defective used one, and I lose all my recorded shows and thus any reason to have their service. These people are slime who must be judged by where they work, or else they would not work there. I am now forced to have a satellite put onto my roof because I cannot be treated like a second-class person while giving them many hundreds of dollars anymore. Just get a satellite and save yourself the trouble. It's cheaper and has so many less problems.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended     great service havent had any problems with my services ..i have phone service can call anywhere..internet is faster than you can type..and hd tv "wow " what a picture...looks like its coming right at neighbor cut his line to his house they came right out and fixed it..bell south says we will get there sometime this week..5 stars brighthouse..

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware!     I have been repeatedly over billed and underserviced by Bright House and wouldnt recommend them to anyone, I was current with my bill then nailed with an 800 dollar bill that I flat out refuse to pay, if this is the way they do business, I am glad that I now switched to Dish TV.

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk     I retract my wonderful review for a new one. I have had Brighthouse Cable for the TV and Roadrunner for the computer since BH came to town, then they offered the cable phones and I added that to my house and transfered from Bellsouth. Since we switched, it has been NOTHING but problems. First, my number would come up as "private caller", so I couldn't even order a pizza!! Then the storms came through and wiped us out. No phone, no net, and tv was mostly snow and static. For 2 days, it went on like this, with promises we were priority. Finally, after 2 days, 3 techs came down to fix it at 8PM when they were suppost to be there by 4!!! Phone and tv were fixed. I asked the tech if the internet was working, he said yes, and quickly left. I went to sign on and it didn't work!!! He NEVER tested it!!! It is going to take a LOT to satisfy me now and keep me as a customer. After 4 days a tech FINALLY came down and fixed the network card!!! Great tech, but still dissatisfied w/ customer service!
