Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! The fact that I had to give this business a star, even one, is unfortunate. I can honestly say that my family and I have never in our lives experienced customer service as awful as the service at ZBest. After being slightly over two weeks late on a payment, Zbest began calling and showing up at our house at the very least twice a day, save for on Sunday, I suppose they rest their motley crew at some point. After several attempts to reach management and even several correspondence letters left by us at the store, we were always unable to reach the people who were apparently desperately trying to reach us. Following a short health scare that we had to attend to out of town, we returned to find our home littered with ZBest fliers and business cards. I use the word "littered" but trashed is more like it. These high gloss prints have to cost something, and they left literally a hundred or more, absolutely no exaggeration, in our door wreath, our bushes, in all cracks in our front door, in our front lawn and in our driveway. They literally littered the entire perimeter of our home. Following this incident they showed up at my house very early on a Monday morning, before we had a chance to deliver a payment, and began systematically damaging the outside of my house. My front door has been kicked and dented in several places, of course we couldn't prove anything so no charges were filed. These guys also banged on all perimeter windows that weren't enclosed in our fence and continuously opened and closed the rear of their large moving truck to either create noise or make us believe they were accessing our garage. I am aware that two of the thugs who work for ZBest are Armando and Tony, there is a third thug who is quite a bit more brash than the other two and actually appeared prepared to fist fight me (his words) when we finally made contact. I was cursed at in front of my two year old son by these goons, Eventually either a neighbor called the police due to their commotion or its possible they had the ZBest store dispatch an officer, but in the end the police had to oversee the process of us giving back a very small amount of merchandise that we would have gladly turned over had we been given a fair chance, or any chance, to do so. The extraordinarily aggressive and reckless member of the crew is a short Hispanic male with tribal tattoos on at least one of his legs. I do not recommend letting this person, Armando or Tony into your home. My highest caution involves the short Hispanic male though, as he cursed and behaved aggressively in front of my child. ZBest's entire customer base is those who cannot afford to buy outright. You would think a slight bit of understanding on a late payment, or even a demand of payment would be acceptable. However, I feel that intimidation, thuggery, violent rhetoric and overall bad form embodies ZBest in Palm Coast. It appears to be encouraged by the owner/GM of the store. ZBest is the opposite of a family friendly establishment and you just may see my family and I holding signs out front in an attempt to deter others from experiencing such thuggery.

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk Less than one year of buying a washer and dryer the washer would not operate correctly and would of cost more to fix than buy a new one. Because it was a unit returned from a lease then resold the warranty had expired even though it was repaired once under warranty. It was a lemon from day one.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I had never used a 'rent to own' before, but have been extreemely pleased with the service. Everyone in the store is friendly and professional. The 120 days same as cash is great. I plan to furnish my whole house with them.

As Expected - OK to Recommend website closed, why? Well, they never updated it and they had FREE delivery posted on it which we used to dispute the delivery fee they always tried to charge us.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF THIS WONDERFUL PLACE FOR A FEW YEARS NOW...LIKE MOST I THOUGHT JUST RENT TO OWN...BUT IT IS NOT. I HAVE PRACTICALLY FURNISHED MY HOME WITH THEIR 120 DAYS SAME AS CASH AND MIGHT I ADD THESE PEOPLE ARE GREAT!!!MIKE,MAUREEN AND JUSTIN ARE THE BEST AND THE DELIVERY GUYS ARE SO FRIENDLY!! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT IF YOU HAVE A FUTURE FURNITURE OR MAJOR APPLIANCE "DO IT THE ZBEST WAY"

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I wasted my time for 2 days trying to find a mattress set that was both affordable and good quality. I should have gone straight to Z-Best. I finally did and found a wonderful queen mattress set. They delivered it on the day/time they said they would. The delivery guys were very nice and set it up fast. My dogs and I thank you for the bigger bed!!!! Update 1/2/06: I just bought a computer from my daughter for Xmas. Without their payment plans, I wouldn't be able to afford one for her. The recent slandering of their good name is unfortunate and I want it to be known they have always been good to me and their word. And they are a wonderful business! Thank you Mike for the computer! You truely made my daughter's holiday special! And when our HDTV blew, they gave us a loaner, and got the tv fixed quickly and back into our house! Excellent service!

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I had never shopped at Z-best because I was under the impression that they only rented. However I learned that they mainly do sales.The selection was great, definately the best selection in Palm Coast. And all the prices were lower than anywhere else. For great customer service,selection, and prices look no further.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I have been to mayn rent to own companies and have never been treated as good as I was at Z-Best. I had one bad experience at a rent to own and promised myself that I would never go back. Until my dryer broke. I walked into Z-Best and was greeted right away. They played with my kids and they helped me get the dryer I needed BUT could afford at the same time. I have now continued to rent from them and will continue to rent from them. I like them so much that I carry a stack of their business cards around with me and give them to people that our looking for something. You also feel very welcome at Z-Best and feel like you are you not just another customer. I would reccomend Z-Best Rentals to anyone and everyone!!!!!

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended So the new season of American Idol is set to start, and our primary television stops working about an hour before the show. It's late, and we've got to replace it with something that a. works, b. will fit in our car, and c. isn't too expensive... (Enter Z-Best!) We walked in, got a great deal, and got our new TV, which was WAY TOO BIG to fit in our car delivered before the program started, even though they were just about ready to close! When the TV was delivered, a minor part was broken during the installation. They offered several solutions, non of which would have involved us having to bring the TV back. It was perfect, all the way through. I highly recommend Z-Best to anyone that wants a good deal, and doesn't want to have to drive to Daytona, or St. Augustine to get it.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I got a bunkbed from there and started making payments. Not a few weeks later, the ladder and then later, the boards under the mattress broke. It took a while to get the ladder fixed correctly, but they got right on top of it to take care of the me when the boards broke. The took back the bed (which I blame on manufactur's defect, not the store itself) and brought me a new model right away. New bed is excellent! Very friendly and helpful. 2/14: Recently purchased a HDTV with center, excellent! Delivery was fast and they even hooked it up for me and showed me how to use it! Entire family is happy with the new TV and several members are going to go get their own! Thanks Z-Best!
