Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk I agree, the food is consistently good, but why is this restaurant dirty? When you sit down, the chairs are dirty and 9x's out of 10, the carpet has remnants of food from the prior diners. We saw a couple seated at the table across from us and had to ask if someone could clean up the mess under the table. AND no, they were not busy at this hour. The tables are "swiped" and not cleaned properly. The bus people wipe the booth seats with the same towel they use on the tables. NOT ALLOWED BY LAW. The servers need to be wearing some type of uniformed clothing. If I want to see thong underwear and too much skin, I will go to Victoria's Secret and then clubbing. Inappropriate for a family restaurant. The manager needs to be on the floor more often inquiring if her guests are satisfied with everything instead of sitting in her office.

Well Done - Would Use Again I would consider Ruby's to be the most consistant chain restaurant in town. You usually get exactly what you expect. The curbside pick up feature is never a problem. When we get the order home, it's all there. Nothing is missing. Not like the frequent problems we have with another nearby restaurant. The only problem we've had was a few months ago. We ordered drinks with dinner. My wife's strawberry daquiri was watery and weak. Like a diluted and melted slurpee. It was really undrinkable so we sent it back. It's replacement was better, but not by much. After paying the bill and driving home, we discovered we were charged for both drinks... and they were not cheap! At least one should have been compensated for sure.

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk Seating was quick (although it took a few minutes to be acknowledged) and our server was helpful enough. However, I was disappointed with their menu selections as there were very few vegetarian options other than a veggie burger. The salad bar lettuce seemed a bit sad too when I was there. Their menu selections for me are enough to keep me away for a while.

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk I recently visited this restaurant on a visit to Palm Coast. The quality of the food was atypical of Ruby Tuesday's, and everyone in the restaurant seemed to be complaining or sending their meals back. The portions were smaller than usual, so this could be a cost-cutting measure due to the tightening economy.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! I had out of town guests who decided they would like to go to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner. We were seated fast enough. But it was down hill from then on. The waitress got every drink order wrong! And.. it took 30 minutes to get them! When I did not get my drink, she informed me that the bartender did not know how to make it!! Why did she wait 30 minutes to tell me this??? The waitress then asked for our orders. We all ordered steak and "something" (ie: shrimp, ribs, etc). After taking our orders, she announced they were out of steaks and baked potatoes!! WHY DID SHE TAKE OUR ORDER THEN??? SO we all regrouped and decided to order something else. But before placing the order, we checked with the waitress to see if it was worth running around the table! Finally got food and drinks. Food was decent enough but maybe by that time I was too hungry to care!! And yes... the place was filthy! And my complaint to mgmt fell on deaf ears too. Just don't go there!!!

As Expected - OK to Recommend we have eaten there several times and the results have been excellent, however Friday May 23rd was an experience to forget: Our server #960 was very rude, tried to remove our appetizer tray early with food on it while we were eating from it. she removed the payment book prior to us leaving any money, she acted like she didn't understand what we wanted. she needs proper training.

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk 13 of us went for birthday dinner there. Our waitress was nice but could've been more attentive. We sat waiting for drink refills for a while. The simplest thing on the kids menu that my daughter ordered was grilled cheese and fries. Everyone got their food except the grilled cheese and that took another 15min!!! Salad bar ran out of Ranch, eggs, so we sat waiting for 10min for that. Nothing is labeled on the salad bar except for the dressing. They seem to run out of alot of things. Ran out of kids menus and orange juice too! The food was ok. Some of us ordered cheeseburgers and the bread bun was too hard and they messed up a couple orders by adding stuff that was requested not to be added on the burgers. Definitely WAY overpriced for the portion size. They charged 18% gratuity which we didnt feel the waitress deserved that much of a tip but she was nice & outgoing so we just paid it and decided that none of us will ever go back there again!!!

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk My Wife and I ate there July 28th. Both ordered a Sirloin Dinner. When our food was delivered to our table there was no bake potato and we were informed they did not have any so pick something else. We were amazed they were serving dinner and had no baked potato's. Should have told us before we ordered. Very un-professional. PS: Their drinks are way over priced.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended We've been several times in the six months we lived here. Awesome service and food, no complaints. If u read some my other posts, u can see, we're picky! I would suggest everybody checking this place out. The food is costly, but hey, ur not eating at Micky D's are ya?

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! Service is unacceptable, Long wait after you are seated. The employees play around to much instead of taking care of the business. Food takes to long. Quality is not that great. Waitress are rude. I have been there four times. And each time I think it will be different. Nothing changes. Maybe its the Management. I will never return and I will tell everyone I know as well.

RETURNED A UNDER COOKED STEAK THAT TOOK 25 MINUTES TO THE WAITRESS. IT RETURNED SLAMMED ONTO THE TABLE. IT WAS OBVIOUS THE STUPID COOKS MICROWAVED IT. IVE NEVER HAD TO UNDERGO SUCH HORRIBLE TREATMENT BEFORE, AND FROM A MANAGER NONETHELESS, MY FOOD TOOK 33 MINUTES FROM ORDER TO TABLE, AND OUR DRINKS TOOK 13 MIUTES UGHHH THEN WHEN I ASKED FOR A MANAGER A WOMAN NAMED STEFANIE CAME OVER AND INTRODUCED HERSELF AS A MANAGER, AND WAS SO RUDE, SHE CALLED MY HUSBAND A LIAR WHEN HE SAID HOW LONG HIS FOOD TOOK AND SHE THEN PROCEEDED TO IMPLY WE WERE COMPLAINING JUST TO GET FREE FOOD, UGHH WE FINISHED PAID AND LEFT. SHE TOTALLY LOST ME AND MY FAMILY AS CUSTOMERS, WE WILL NEVER RETURN, IF THE MANAGERS ACT LIKE THAT ITS NO WONDER THAT PLACE RUNS LIKE HORSE MANUER!

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk On a visit there this past week, the service was poor, but worst of all there was a used paper napkin wadded up in a serving of mashed potatoes. The manager was very apologetic but this is inexcusable. We will never go back there again.

As Expected - OK to Recommend Average food, known formula, inexperienced servers, and that summarizes my experience at this, or pretty much any other R.Tuesday. The franchise "restaurant" concept only works once for me -the first try, and then I am done with it. In this Palm Coast location there seems to be more staff then needed at all times, they are walking around aimlessly and constantly -just crowding the place. I find the menu-cards not hygenic, greasy, and handled too many times. In my opinion R.Tuesday has good intensions but a bad execution of concept franchise restaurant. (7/31/2006)

Well Done - Would Use Again Usualy we have a good night at Ruby's, it usualy depends on our server. There are a few great servers there though which is why we keep going back. Sometimes the food is cold, but if you let your server know they usualy take care of it in any way possible. Just went there tonight and the gal we had tonight needed a little assistance...which we assisted her because we had to grab another waiter for our drinks to be refilled. But I also think she was new...so no sweat. We will eat there again and more then likely it will be sometime soon! 8-)

As Expected - OK to Recommend Would be 4 stars if the prices were a little better. I don't exactly like being charged for every little thing. The steak was great as was the loaded baked potato, but to add a salad (salad bar) was an add'l $3 or more? Well, even with the small steak and the potato, I was relatively full so I was glad I opted out of the salad bar anb saved myself the $3 a piece. Salad should either be included in your regular dinner meal or at best, add a salad bar for $1.

As Expected - OK to Recommend I loved it BUT went late one night they sat us then proceeded to close down the salad bar. Now why would you do that when customers are still being seated? we left with a bad taste in our mouths

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I have been meaning to post this review for a couple of days. We went to Ruby Tuesdays last week and it was wonderful! I loved it. The food was great. They were extremely kid friendly and our waiter was wonderful. His name was Scott so be sure to ask for him. We didn't have to ask for our drinks to be refilled, the food was made the way we asked, I couldn't have asked for a better time. FINALLY a restaraunt in PC to enjoy! Thank you Ruby Tuesdays! =)

Well Done - Would Use Again Great food! And I had excellent service. Rich, our server, was very friendly, helpful, and a great laugh. I was never much for Ruby Tuesdays (Daytona) for several years. But the Palm Coast branch gets an A+ from me!

Well Done - Would Use Again THE SNEEZE-GUARD OVER THE SALAD BAR IS AWKWARDLY POSITIONED MAKING IT DAMN NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH ANYTHING WITHOUT SPILLING IT ALL OVER THE PLACE. I THINK IT WAS INSTALLED BY MUTANTS WITH THREE ELBOWS. ONCE YOU MANAGE TO FILL YOUR SALAD PLATE, YOU WILL FIND THAT YOU HAVE COLLECTED A FINE ASSORTMENT OF THE MOST DELECTABLE GOODIES ANY SELF-RESPECTING SALAD BAR WOULD BE PROUD TO CALL IT'S OWN... Well Done - Would Use Again I've been there twice already. The first waitress we had really busted her hump to take care of us and even though it was very busy, she frequently checked up on us to see if we needed anything. I may be wrong... I think her name was JoAnna. The second visit netted us someone who was a bit less attentive but o.k. nevertheless. The food? Very good... both times. And it was good to be able to wrap my face around a salad bar. One problem...NO ITALIAN DRESSING! I'm a "Guido". I gotta have Italian dressing. At least they have oil and vinegar. Now the bar drinks were an entirely different issue. They couldn't screw up a bottle of beer but the mixed drinks we ordered were downright pathetic. They've got to train their bartenders a lot better... like at Chili's in Ormond.

As Expected - OK to Recommend OK I tried it The food was a little high for the size of the portions. Salad bar was acceptable. Atmosphere great. Ill give the servers more time to adjust before reviewing them. The placement of the waiters station is bad and they seem to all be crowded around it and in the way of traffic. Only had 4 margaritas so cant say much on the bar. It is nice place for the young people to take dates. And I like the fact it is open till 11 being a late eater.
