Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! This place is CRAWLING WITH ROACHES they are found in your food, on the tables, on the floor, in the kitchen!! I am talking everywhere!! The owner NEVER deals with situations when confronted. He never returns phone calls and never makes good of his word. This place has been shut down SEVERAL times by the health department. They put signs on the doors that say they are closed due to electrical problems "AKA" roach infestation. They also put up a sign for MONTHS saying they were closed for the holidays "AKA" roach infestation!! This is no joke people do all you can to avoid eating here. Not only are the people rude and disrespectful but the place is dirty! There are many other wonderful clean places to eat in Palm Coast! PEOPLE BEWARE STAY AWAY!!

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! Went to Famous Philly's tonight and the service was horrible. The place was empty but we had to wait for our order. After 45 minutes of waiting for our food to come, the waitress came out and asked us what our order was. When we finally asked where our meal was and told her it had been an hour, she laughed and said, "Really?" Our drinks were not filled until we asked and then even slow. They even waited after we asked for the bill and I had to walk up to pay for the meal. No apology, no explanation for the terrible service, nothing. We went there several months ago and it was quite good but has gone downhill drastically. We will never patronize this place again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! My experience at Famous Philly's was a little different. I paid my bill with a credit card, handed the girl a tip when i called my bank she also took a tip from my credit card with out even knowing it. I call asked to speak to the owner said he only comes in once a week the manager said she would have him call me.. Dont you know 6 hours later the waitress who waited on me called be and said it was an accident she would give me my 10 dollars she took off my card and return my tip. First of all why did they give her my phone number and why didnt the owner call me. But the best part about this is HOW MANY PEOPLE HAS SHE DONR THIS TOO KNOW YOU HAD TOO MUCH TO DRINK AND TO DRUCK TO KNOW WHAT THE BILL WAS. I WILL BE PRESSING CHARGES ON THIS WAITRESS MONDAY

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! went there tonight all my husband wanted was a roast beef hoagie and when got my order my bag was hot something was not right so i took out of the bag and they gave me a hot rb sandwich ok so i give it back and told the girl again cold rb hoagie with mayo,lett,toms,and onions well i get it back again they gave me the same sandwich with letts,on it and again well i gave it back again and the girl told the cook what i wanted well i got the same meat hot with lett,toms,and onions on the same roll it look like trash well# 1 i am not trash was treated that and the rb so call hoagie look like trash i ask for my money back and the girl told the cook that i wanted my money and he said what the fuc_...well never will i step foot in thaat place again

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk Food is great when u go there, not so good when u order take-out...it's been about 50/50. We have ate there 2 times and did take-out 3 times. When we ate there, it was good, really good. Fresh, hot, chesse everwhere, great service....I bragged on this palce all the time...I dunno what it is, but I think they treat take-out as serious. They should..!!! $50 later and my Philly steak ONLY had chesse on it in 1 area and the mushrooms were terrible, juicy with beer batter..NASTY! i don't think they were done,... Basically, half the order was fine..

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk The word dirty comes to mind immediately after you walk through the front door of this smelly place. Want worse? Walk into the bathroom. It smells like it's been infested by cats without litter boxes. Service is poor, they act like you should be happy thier serving you at all. Wow.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! Try the roach sandwich at Famous Philthies! You've got to wonder why we have a health department if they let this place stay open after repeated violations for roach infestation. The food manager couldn't answer basic questions. The health department reported so many roaches they couldn't count them all. One roach casually walked across the food prep table during the inspection.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! The food is not what we expected , You would think that they would want there customers to be happy and want to come back and try again yea right! The place is small and it is like you are squezzed in next to every table. The staff is some what ok give or take most of them, and the manager has NO idea on how to make WINGS! Beef's is better at the wings Famous philly's should leave that to the big boys! The food was Nasty and there is no picking up your food to eat it is greasy and the bread comes out so soggy it just takes the whole Famous out of it. The Place was dirty and the bathrooms were NASTY! there was toliet paper every where and the smell was coming out into the hall. You would think the health Inspector would do something about them! The food took about 10 mins to come out but It was over cooked they basically cook everything in the morning and just re heat! It tasted like a Microwave reheat dinner! Will not eat there again , expected so much more from the reviews! WRONG!!!!!

As Expected - OK to Recommend We had a not so great experience last night. Waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged before my husband had to approach a waitress at the bar to get service. We were served our food which was chicken wings and the waitress didn't bring napkins- we had to track her down to get some. The waitress gave us our check without asking if we wanted anything else..we were going to have another drink but decided to just leave. We have been here on other occassions and had good service. The staff was not on their game last night but were busy chatting and standing around talking with eachother rather than serving the patrons.

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk I ate here tonight for the first time and was quite dissappointed. After reading the raving reviews on here I expected a lot more. We ordered the medium size Philly Steak and cheese sandwhich and a large order of fries. The sandwhich is called a 9" sandwhich so we thought we could share it. Not sure if we got the right sandwhich but it was Not 9". It was greasy and although I imagine there was cheese somewhere on the sandwhich I did not see it. The sandwhich itself was $8.95....the large fries which tasted like frozen french fries just heated in a deep frier left a lot to be desired. The large fries were $3.95, and were about the size of a Biggie Fry at McDonalds (but didn't taste as good). The clincher for me was the fact that they charged an additional $1.00 because we shared the sandwhich!!! For $8.95 you would think at least a pickle would come with the sandwhich....well you would be thinking wrong.... I will not be going back to this restaurant, and would tell others the same.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I've been to Famous Philly's a few times for takeouts and once to dine in. We went on a Friday night and were lucky enough to get a table right away. Shortly thereafter it got packed and the atmosphere was fun and the food was great, as was the beer. All in all, a great place to hang out, eat good food at a very reasonable price.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended This place couldn't be better. Good food, great people & lots of TVs. If you like good food and sports (or even if you don't) go to Famous Philly's. You won't be disapointed. One minor problem is that sometimes the food takes a bit longer but this is simply because it's a new restuarant and they are slowly building up their staff. Just be patient and enjoy all the surroundings.

As Expected - OK to Recommend This is the second Famous Philly's with the original down in port orange. Great food! Great family atmosphere. Waitress was very attentive. They just openned up and the place was packed. No doubt I'll be there often. ................Update......Haven't been there with the recent roach infestations. Not really sure what that's all about but 2 closings right in a row? Come on! I hadn't seen anything of the sorts while I was going there. The service is great if you sit at the bar. The waitress's for table service are terrible. If I can't sit at the bar, I'll turn around and leave. However, as I mentioned, I have been reluctant to go back since the closings. Will have to give it some time to clean up thier act.
