Top of the Line - Highly Recommended What a show! This wonderful abode of a movie theatre is one of the best I've seen. When rules are told people should follow. This family owned cineplex really brings back the rural feel of a more authentic Palm Coast. The manager tells unruly children and teens to quiet down when their tone of voice becomes disturbing. The owners and workers know how to get the job done with politness and sincerity. Since the 1st time I have been there it has been clean and sanitary. The workers have been friendly and delightful to be around with. The concessions have been priced moderately and congruently to such theatres as Regal Ormond and Regal St. Augustine. Only thing I would suggest to the proprietors is a change of name and look from the outside to attract more patrons.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! Why? Why? Why does this theater stay in business? And why did we patronize this place to begin with?? My family went Friday night to see Iron Man. Had intended to go to Ormond but ran out of time. Here are our complaints: * Concessions prices are ridulous. * Bathrooms are repulsive. * Lines and feedback - Looked like the movie had been made in 1978, not 2008. WHEN the credits started THEY FLICKED ON THE LIGHTS IMMEDIATELY as if to say "Get the h*ll out of here!!" We had heard to watch the end of the credits and told the employee outside the theater we wanted to see them, after all, we had just spend $50 (tix & concessions)for a family of 4. He said there was nothing at the end and then the projector shut off. A debate ensued, the man was incredibly rude in front of my 7 year olds, and bottom line, we will NEVER return! THE OWNERS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES! The place needs to be condemned and gutted, and I hope the next owners will realize that. Good riddance!

As Expected - OK to Recommend My husband and I went to this theater to see Pirates III. We did not have any of our children with us and neither of us had to use the bathroom so we found that we were treated very nicely. One thing I noticed was that this theater was for sale. Anyone out there that would be willing to choose this theater over a brand new 14-plex if it were under new ownership?

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! The owners / employees are extremely rude. They reuse the soft drink glasses, they accuse customers of being thiefs, the place is tore up and dirty. The 20 mile drive to Ormond to a nice, clean theater is well worth it until our new one is built in Town Center

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! This movie theater has to be the ****** one i've seen in my entire 78 years of living. It is clearly unexceptable. I could get a brazillion wax with the money i spend on tickets for me and my grandchildren to watch a movie. Not to mention the repulsive food, I even found one of the workers hair in my popcorn (the old crabby blonde)disguisting, and when i asked for a refund they refused! The owner is completely out of wack, maybe this is how they run theaters in russia, but this is the US. On top of all that movie that you paid like 25.00 bucks for sucks. The sound sucks, and the screen is blurry. These people need to go out of buisness pronto! And the restrooms are so gross, they have to violate some kind of health law. There is (no lie) scum growing in its own species on the ceiling, once they accused me of vandilizing the bathroom because there was water on the mirror,please its shitty enough without my doings.one more thing,what is up with all those barbies?!

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! if you like a roach infested, scum pit to sit in and watch a crappy film dicolored version of a movie, then A OK, GOOD FOR YOU! But if you are like the rest of us, or a person with atleast a shred of decency, this is not the place to come within a 10 mile radius of. How about we put them out of Buisness!?! Tickets are more expenisive than a movie theatre with AC and workers with souls. The candy expenses are outrageous, and Ive always just snuck in as much as I could. The old man is half blind, but its not that hard to get away with. Ive always left my garbage on the floor, stuck my gum to a seat and clogged a toilet or two just to get them back. Havent been there in years, Karmas a B**** Alright thats about all, thanks for reading!

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! How is this place still in business? How is it that the owner hasn't had a lawsuit slapped against him? I don't understand how this place still exists after all the horror stories I've heard about it. I've gone to probably three movies there in the ten years I've lived here, and none of them were worth the experience. After seeing Episode I Star Wars there years ago I vowed never to return, and I haven't. I happily drive to the Regal in Ormond. Why why why doesn't someone build one of the big chain theatres here and run this yahoo out of business? PS. I just read a couple of positive reviews for this place down the list...what is going on there? Surely those people are shills or else they hate children and don't mind their feet sticking to the floor and paying a high price for a terrible movie experience. I myself would prefer to go to a theatre that doesn't smell like a locker room.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! This is the worst Movie theatre I have been to in 40 yrs. The people are extremely rude. They cuse your kids(so parents beware). The bathrooms are filthy and have roaches. I didn't buy anything at the concession stand after seeing roaches in the restroom. My husband went back to the theatre and confronted the old man who cussed the kids. Of course he tried to deny the whole thing. Luckily another parent witnessed the whole thing so we knew what had happened was true. They are rude, obnoxious and unclean. We will never go back and we are reporting to the newspaper and the Health Dept. on Monday. My son went there one time last year and took a friend of his that is in a wheelchair. The older couple who were running it were so rude to them. When my husband and I picked them up they told us what they had done to them and my husband went in and cuss them out. They came out and apologized to them. I reported to the following agencies and include the emails here: This one I sent to flagler health dept. We were at the Palm Coast theater in St Joes Plaza on Sat. Aug. 119 at 1:45. First off the Older gentleman Was extremely rude. Especially to my son, a girl in a wheelchair, and her brother. He cussed because they were paying for their own tickets and he had to count out change 4x. The bathrooms were horrible. There were roaches running aropund everywhere, paper was not stocked, toilets unclean. At the concession stand there were more roaches on the counter, No soap dispenser for clerk to wash hands, Counter was filthy. This is the first show on Saturday so that can only me that this place had not been cleaned before today. Obviously they have not sprayed for bugs either. I am also sending a copy of this letter to the Daytona News Journal, Official Mel Martinez, Better Business Bureau and the Govenors Office. I don't see how these people passes prior inspections or any current ones for that matter. Maybe payoff I suspect. I hope someone takes care of this matter as I am going to follow up. Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! My experiences in that theatre is the most disgusting and most discomforting I have ever had. The first time I went there, my friend's phone was on silent so if she got an important phone call *considering her mother was pregnant* she would recieve it and not bother the audiance. We even sat in the back so the light would disturb any one. Her father called to tell her he'd pick her up a little bit earlier than expected because he didn't want to leave the house too late at night. The man working there took her phone so we decided we'd leave instead. He remarked, "Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out." The cups are filthy. The prices are over done. The people working there are completely rude and disrespectful, the seats have gum and candy on them and most importantly, they are inconsiderate and foul mouthed to children. I've heard the man yell to middle schoolers *pardon my french: "Get your d*** feet of my seats or get the f*** out of my theatre" please wouldn't work?

The big guy was rude, the concessions were overpriced, $2.75 for a pack of sweettarts that you can get at the store for 44 cents, COME ON!! So concessions were another 30 bucks. This place is pitiful. I wont go back.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! a couple of months ago, my dad and i went there. we had 2 skittle bag in our pocket. the minute we walked in the man floowed us with his eyes and aked us"what you guys want"? we told him what movie we wanted and he tossed us the tickets like he was doing us a favor. we then bought two drinks. then we attempted to go into the theater when the man yelled "you can't have that here"! (must have seen the edge of the skittle bag in my pocket).we didn't buy candy there because it is stale. we said, " than give us a refund". he tossed us our money back. as we were leaving the movie theater the man called us " sneaky bast****" and said " you people are all the same". we then turned around to the door and he yelled" let the door hit you on the way out" NEVER AGAIN!!!! I hope i see the man in wal-mart or the grocery store so i can hit him with my CART!!!

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! wow, i am a health inspector for another county. I noticed that they didnt have a handwashing sink, papertowels, soap, ect. The floor was extremely dirty the bathrooms were not stocked. it was an inspectors nightmare. i will file a complaint with both the dbpr and DOH tommorrow. However i was asked to do a head count of the facility and was paid to go there, and for a movie i only found 4 people in it, that amazed me. it was the first time i had ever gone there. however i decided to buy a drink, and as a health inspectore i NEVER drink ice that i dont know where it came from, it is usually the dirtiest thing in a facility. I ordered a large mountain dew with NO ice, the guy put ice in it and then charged me $3.75. he charged me an extra 25 cents to take the ice out and put a little more soda in the cup. he was very rude and im not sure how he keeps employees or customers.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! I hate that place. I went in there with my three kids, first they charged me for my 1 year old then told me I could not take my diaper bag in. I got into a huge fight with the jerk in the front and told him to give me my money back. He refused, I then had to empty out my diaper bag and they would not let me take in a sippy cup and fruit loops for my little girl. I HATE THAT MAN. I would never set foot in that place and I hope he goes out of business!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended This truly is a great place, and I appreciate the fact that the enforce the rules that you would in your own home, such as keep your feet off the furniture and shut your mouth while we're all trying to watch a movie. If you want to talk on your cell phone, by all means, do so....outside of the theater. And we all know, that 90% of the money made at a theater comes from consessions, which asre priced very reasonable there. The staff and the ownwer are truly nice people, just talk to them when they are NOT buzy and you will know, knowledgable and polite, until you break the rules, and then, all they do is what needs to be done more anyhow, so bravo to them! As for the cleanliness, I like the good old fashioned glasses, they bring a touch of nastalgia to the place, and in the many times that I have been there, have ALWAYS been clean and sanitary.

As Expected - OK to Recommend We just moved to Palm Coast and since it was the only theater in town, we went to see a movie. This place has small town feel and I've been back three times since then just to see what the 'Big Guy' is gonna do. As a respectful person who doesn't talk, doesn't bring my own food, doesn't put my feet where they don't go, and treats the 'Big Guy' with respect, he leaves me the 'F' alone. Granted, we go to Ormond Beach most of the time, but sometimes we go to this little 'S' Hole to get amusement from a bitter man with a bone to pick with teenagers.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! If it weren't for "The "Passion" you would be gone! If I could have given 0 stars I would. The owner and manager were rude. After spending $30.00 for entry, and $5.00 for soda, I was stopped for having my own bottle of water. The owner blocked me and told me I was not able to bring it in and that I could collect it on the way out. When I told him I thought he was being unreasonable, he said "I have to pay the rent". Well, I suppose my $35.00 was not enough and I have decided not to give him a penny more. It's worth the drive to Ormond to be in a clean theater, with disposable cups and an enjoyable experience. IF WE ALL STOP GOING, MAYBE WE'LL BE LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET SOMEONE NEW!

As Expected - OK to Recommend The Owner acctually is very friendly to me, i think he is shaping up his act. I used to hate this place tremedously. But we do have some arrogant kids here in Palm Coast, there are rules to each and every place his rules are dont put your feet up on the thingy in front of you,, ok so follow the rules.. thats all.. But anyway i have had some bad experieces but i have had soem good the last 4 times i've been there they were friendly, polite and curtious

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk It was my first time to this theatre even though I had heard from other people NOT to go there.I went with an open mind.I had brought in a cup of coffee(My Starbucks) from home, since I am on medication & the movie was a long one, my medication would be due while in the movie.I didn't know that I could NOT bring in my own.I ALWAYS carry my "coffee mug" with me wherever I go in case I need to take my medicine while out.The Manager was extremely rude, screamed at me & said that I would be "arrested" if I came into the theatre with my cup,(after paying to get in of course).But, I said O.K.& would bring it out to my car IF I could purchase some coffee there.They said, "we don't have any coffee made and were NOT going to make any coffee for you".I don't drink carbonated drinks or anything with sugar, & cannot swallow a pill w/water.They also had the BR. door propped open & had ice in the urinals so they didn't have to flush& didn't have running h20 to washup afterwards.NEEDHEALTH INSPECTION

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! My wife and I are law abiding senior citizens having lived in Palm Coast for 22 years. I am an attorney and retired admistrative law judge, also a past predent of the Palm Coast Lions club which does outstanding charitable service throughout the county. I have two replaced hips and walk with difficulty. We sat in Picture Show 111 waiting the world acclaimed picture "THE PASSION OF CHRIST" to commence. The manager of the theater approched us, and because i had taken my medicine with a few sips of water, and ate a half of a granola bar(my wife ate the other half) in a rude manner ordered us out of the theter or he would call the police. I apologized, said I was sorry and would eat no more food in the theatre. His only reply was an emphatic "OUT, OUT GET OUT OF THE THEATRE NOW". I asked for my money back which I received and left the theatre. Never in our lives has my wife and I received such discourteous, impolite, rude and I might say such "rotten treatment in our lives.

Despite the fact that the person under this rating probably owns the place :), I can say that the owner is RUDE...and has NO people skills WHATSOEVER. If you'd like to see a movie, the theaters in the surrounding areas are much more appropriate. I'm not very hard to please, but the palm coast picture show pushed every one of my buttons. I can put it like this.... If the following applies to you, DONT go to the pc picture show! 1)you're a male 2)you're a female 3)you're breathing 4)you're not breathing 5)you're alive 6)you have kids 7)you're married 8)you're not married, nor do you have kids 9)you wear glasses 10)you have perfect eyesight 11)you're on a diet 12)you're in perfect shape 13)you're employed 14)you're unemployed 15)(last but not least) you are a human being That sums it up :)

Anytime someone walks in front of me, my drink or popcorn gets spilled and they don't offer refills for such incidents. I have bared witness to their wrath on other's though. They wash those cups in the BATHROOMS!!!! If you must go to this theater, I reccommend for your own health to buy the SEALED BOTTLED WATER ONLY!

They are extremely rude to people and especially kids...kids need a place to go in this town and they should welcome them, not try to chase them away. They also need to improve the place - many more seats are broken or in poor shape than there are good seats. We have had to move 3 and 4 times just to find 3 seats in a row that are not broken. They need to realize that their customers are important and if they treated them as such, less people would travel to other counties to see movies. I hope they read these comments and improve things.

I am glad I am not the only one who will travel ( I go to the St. Augustine theater by the way and love it, a bit closer than Ormond, but both are great) just not to give this guy business, all of the above comments are true and then some, they even charge extra if you ask for "no ice" in your drink!! How the heck he is still open I have no idea, he is so rude and is CONSTANTLY interrupting movies to yell at people to get their feet off the 2x4's!!!PLEASE! He is a horrible man and a lousy business man...I pray for the day a nice theater moves in and shuts him down. I won't say this about many people, but he deserves it!Last year, My Dad had a serious leg injury and HAD TO keep his leg up (figured he'd combat boredom by taking in a show!, big mistake!)... this guy even got into it with him!! Can we get real here? STAY AWAY Drive a few minutes out of the way ...all these people cannot be wrong. Also the comments about the cups and the food? Yes it is GROSS old popcorn,re-used cups eeww

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! I can't help but agree 100% with all the above comments. I've personally been there many times and each time I go I feel I should give them another chance, yet each time I show up I get the same result. The manager NEVER smiling, always being rude, it's almost like he doesn't want to make any money? Does he want his business to have a bad name? I too have heard about recycling the cups and I was also told that they save their popcorn overnight in garbage bags.. True or not? I do not know, but if they did I don't think I would be suprised. The last two times I've gone to the Picture Show, before I even got to the counter to buy my tickets, my party and I decided to drive down to Ormond (20 minutes) to the Regal 12, which is known for it's air conditioned, good service and quality movie theatre. btw: SIRENGARG : how much did they pay you to give them a decent review? If you've been there over 50 times, well you must have been sleep walking to not witness anything...

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! The first and last time that I attended a movie at this theater was over five years ago and vowed after one time that I would never return. The "big fat" man walked up and down the isle during the movie and was talking to people about where they put there feet and actually interrupting all the other movie patrons. He was also rude to people at the concession stand. He then was standing outside the door collecting the plastic cups everyone walked out of the theater. I later found out from a reliable source that the owners wash the plastic cups and recycle them. I would never step my foot inside this establishment again based on what I know.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! Too bad there is not 0 stars. Took my kids one time it was cold outside so figured the theater would be warm. NO HEAT. The manager said that because there were only a few people in the theater it does not pay to run the heat. Told us to put our coats on. My daughter got a drink and it was only about 2/3 full and the cup had stuff on the side. Took it back and that monster of a man tried to tell me that I put it there. Demanded a new one. He tried to make me pay for the new one. The prices were too high for a run down nasty filthy place. Will never go back there again!!!!!

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! My son is a movie addict and has been in theaters all over the United Sates. He has never seen a theater this dirty or a manager this rude. He won’t go back. He was afraid to eat anything that wasn’t sealed! He had the feeling he wasn't welcome.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! This place is going no place but down. It is very unsanitary and the owner is rude and doesn't care for his customers. He haunts you through the movie continually telling you take your feet off the stupid 2x4 in front of you while shining a light in your face. How he stays in business is unknown. He also must not have discovered air conditioning or he's trying to save money because the last 2 times I went I was sweating watching the movie. DO NOT VISIT THIS THEATER. Visit Regal 12 in Ormond. Well worth it.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! I used to go to the Movie Theater quite a bit. I didn't visit for a couple of years, and decided to see a movie there with some friends. On top of common courtesy being of no priority, an usher kept telling me to keep my feet on the floor (I had my foot resting on the opposite knee). I wouldn't reccommend the Palm Coast Picture Show to anyone.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! There's a large man that works (owns?) this theater that is rude and very demeaning towards the customers. Don't expect service with a smile. He shows no gratitude for your business whatsoever!!! Drive to Ormond instead.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! I recently went to a movie and found a hair in my popcorn. My relative who was visiting advised the staff and we were kicked out not before we were spoken to rudely and my aunt was referred to as a 'damn yankee,' repeatedly. The irony was that we just wanted to advise the staff and not to get more popcorn or any such special treatment. Okay everyone has a bad day even business owners, I tried again. A couple weeks later, I was nearly thrown out for accidently spilling a drink. That is it, no more chances.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! Poor Service, Rude Owner, Will never go there again. What's up with the plastic drink cups..Did I mention the RUDE OWNER !!!!! The one star rating is only for the young people that have to work there with the RUDE OWNER.....Guess I mentioned the RUDE OWNER..... Go to Daytona Beach for a Great Movie theater!
