Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I have been going to Paks's Karate for Chen style tai chi since December. I have more energy, less anxiety and I have a toner and leaner body. Larry is an exceptional teacher. I woulf recommend this class to anyone who wants to be their best physically and mentally.

Well Done - Would Use Again I've been studying Chen style taijiquan (Tai Chi) with Master Larry since July 2015. The instruction is excellent, and I feel I've made good progress. The exercise is great for building your core and improving balance, no matter what your age. I must observe that this academy is well-run and has great outreach. Master Larry keeps you on your toes but doesn't push you beyond your ability. If a form is too difficult, he helps you modify it for your ability. Gradually, as you improve, you reach a point where you don't need the modification any more. I definitely recommend this school for martial arts.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended My son is severely ADHD. His pediatrician recommended karate as a therapy. Master Vince and Master Larry were wonderful. They considered the child's needs and abilities, understanding that we are not all cookie cutter humans. The child's needs were given first consideration. Kudos to both masters, it is obvious you truly care about your students. You do teach karate, not just sell it!

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I'm an 18 year old high-school student and i have been attending Pak's Karate! The experience of making great friends and learning karate by Great karate masters, Vince and Larry, has been a privilege. They have helped me in so many ways, like with volunteer hours and a great after school activity. I would highly recommend no matter the age, young or older! it is an experience of a life time and i wouldn't miss this type of opportunity.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended My grandson has attended Pak's for the last year and a half and also attends their after school care. He enjoys the class and Master Larry and Master Vince have brought him a long way with his anger. They have taken a special intrest with his being bullied and schoolwork. His grades have very much improved.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I have been taking the morning Ladies Workout class for 2 years and highly reccommend it for anyone serious about getting in shape. The workout is always demanding and pushes me to my limits, which is how I get results. I would be lost without my bi-weekly workouts.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I have been a student at this school since it opened 1 1/2 years ago. I was looking for a program that suited my very busy schedule, this one does. I can not tell you how much Larry and Vince bend over backwards to accommodate everyone! Whether you have a child that is interested or yourself, it's a great experience. I have lost 32 pounds and counting. I have gotten my muscle tone back and my husband says I look great. I am almost 47 years old and can keep up with the kids, most of the time. If I can't, no big deal, don't be afraid to try something new. While I am so proud of reaching every belt level and have worked really hard to do it, I am even happier with my weight loss and overall well being. It is a great stress reliever. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose! Rain

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Almost a year ago i signed up for karate with Larry and Vince at Pak's Karate in Palm Coast.I have attended other schools in the area and the difference is overwhelming. Not only have they been the best Karate teachers I could have, they are also great friends who only want to see their students succeed in every facit of life. They are readily open for day classes or night classes, whatever fits your shedule. The youngest students there are extremely disciplined for their ages. I'm 30 now, and I've even learned some discipline, but these guys teach karate in a manner that is fun and extremely effective!

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Signed my 8 year old up at this school almost a year and a half ago and he has been steadily attending two to three times a week since. I never have to force him to go.This school run's under the Pak's Karate name. Grandmaster Pak is world renowned and actually is the one who comes to the facility to do the belt testing. This is important because I myself always wondered who authorizes the countless other instructors who have come and gone in this County, to test and hand out belts. Secondly, unlike other schools that rent space, the owner, Larry Maccherone, owns the space he occupies so that shows a real commitment to the school, especially since the school is over 3,000 sf and it must of cost him a pretty penny. Thirdly, the other instructor is Larry's son, Vince, who is a highly decorated black belt and one of the youngest Master's in the United Tang Soo Do Federation and he really seems to know how to work with the kids and has great patience. To se a father and son working so well together is in itself a great example for the kids to look up to. I hope everyone out there looking to sign up there child in martial arts gives them a try.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended After checking out all the Karate schools in Palm Coast, my husband and I choose to enroll our kids in Pak's Karate for many reasons. Pak's Karate is registered with the United Tang Soo Do Federation, in other words, they're legit. The kids can participate in tournaments and their belts are registered with the Federation. In order to move up in belts they must pass the test required and may keep their rank if we should relocate. I like the fact that we can sit and watch our children the entire time, they encourage parent participating. The instructors/owners, Larry and Vince (father and son team) are wonderful with the kids. They genuinely care about their students and I just can't say enough about them. Pak's also just started a "Mommy & Me" class! This class is so much fun. It teaches practical self-defense and fitness. My child gets some excercise right along with me. This class leaves me energized and ready to face the rest of my busy day. Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Pak's Karate is the best Martial Arts school in the Flagler County area. Not only is karate taught there, but also Tai Chi. I visited other schools in the area, but as a woman over 50 years of age, none of them were offering what I was looking for. I have been taking Tai Chi at Pak's Karate for almost four months and, not only have I lost over 15 pounds, but I feel better than I have felt in years. I've also gotten many compliments on my looks! I highly recommend Pak's Karate for people of all ages and fitness level.
