Top of the Line - Highly Recommended The positive difference in my children has been nothing less than extraordinary. Their agility, coordination and confidence have undeniably improved. The Owner works with vast enthusiasm, focus and real world wisdom, and the children respond accordingly. As a parent, it's an amazing feeling to know that the gift of self defense will benefit them for life. We feel most fortunate to have FightScience serving our community.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended FightScience is definitely my top choice for self defense training. I always refused to get self defense instruction because I felt uncomfortable with the whole idea. But everyone made me feel very comfortable at the academy and I would recommend this school to all of you who are squeamish at the idea. John Michael is a GREAT teacher and all women should get this self defense training!

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended FightScience is amazing, John-Michael is a great instructor he teaches in a way that is easy to understand and if your not getting it he is always more then happy to help you with it. It's always a great time up there learning the best from the best. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking how to defend them self's or getting in shape, well this does both! I'm proud to be part of the FightScience family!

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Fight science has been a great experience. They work well with children and young adults. John-Michael is an amazing, patient, and confident teacher. You can tell he believes in all his students, and wants them to do the best. You should do yourself a favor and check it out. I did, and I'm totally grateful for the experience.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I cant thank John Michael enough for the highest quality instruction he has provided to myself and more importantly my son over the past several years. He truly believes in and loves what he does and that carries over to empower his students and translates into the best training and instruction I could find on the east coast!

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended unbelievably clean gym. John Michael is absolutely the best instructor I have ever had. He is an expert in his craft and is super good at breaking down even the most difficult moves and submissions. Whether you want to learn Jiu Jitsu, become a better fighter, or just learn self-defense, Fightscience is the best. Fightscience is a family that welcomes everyone with open arms. If you arent training there, then I dont know what you are doing.

Im impressed with how much intensity my instructor, John-Michael, teaches with and how he is more than willing to help me understand each and every move. Not only is his teaching very indepth, he treats his students with the utmost respect. I'm proud to say that I am honored to be part of the Fight Science family. Top of the Line - Highly Recommended The instructor and jujitsu family are excellent. they're good people and I believe they have a good mission. but I will share my own experience with you, I started September 27, 2012, I am 44 years old, I thought it was too late to do something like this, but through proper instruction I found quite the contrary. I find it very fun, it improves my agility, I have gained confidence which is something I've always lacked. this is my way to say thank you to John Michael, to Kenny, to Jim, and to all my friends that allow me to train with them. I would highly recommend fight science Gracie jujitsu to anyone, if this is something you've always wanted to try, but especially if you never thought you could. thank you ,Doug Tillman

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Amazing experience working with John Micheal at FightScience Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. He has an effective and unique talent for instruction that makes learning and practicing fun. When you come to the studio you immidiately are made to feel like you have a place there among the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu family. I have watched John Michael and Kenny with the children's classes and have been so impressed with their rapport with the little ones. The kids really enjoy their time as much as the adults do. Monday night muay thai with Willem-Jan is literally Kick-a**! I get a great work out and really feel powerful when I leave there. My only regret is that I didn't find this place years ago.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I would highly recommend the Women's Self-Defense class to all women and to all men for your daughters, mothers, and sisters. The instructor is extremely skilled and patient and meets you at your individual skill level. The class is taught in a non-intimidating environment with a focus on real-life practical situations and the application of techniques that could save your life! I am so grateful to the instructor, John-Michael, and the academy for teaching me the skills to defend myself or someone I love.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Great kids program!! An open, friendly inviting atmosphere that still maintains a high level of professionalism. Great instruction and lots of options for whatever type of self defense you want to learn. Want to prepare yourself for the extra holiday calories? There's no better way than Gracie Jiu Jitsu!
