Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Flagler County Humane Society is back to being the best around for our furry and feathered friends. Now we have back our missed for several years, dedicated, compassionate former Director Mrs. Amy Carotenuto. At this moment the shelter has an non working A/C and need all our support and help as just learned, the given estimate for repair is very high. Please let all collaborate in whatever we can in resolving their emergency 445-1814. 1 Shelter Drive of US 1 few hundred yards north of Palm Coast Parkway. Thank you!

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! This is the last place anyone should donate money to. I love animals but this place is managed by a complete bunch of fools who care more for themselves than they do for the animals. We took in a very old and sickly small dog named Telly under a Forever foster program. He recently fell in the family pool and drowned. We jumped in, pulled him out and my wife gave him mouth to snout. She brought him back. We called the next day to have him looked at and were told by the New director that they would not help him. Seems they had no knowledge of the foster program. The dog officer, who helped create the program, lied and said she had never heard of "FOREVER FOSTERING". Yes we said to them we adopted a 17yr old Chihuahua with a heart murmur and no hair. All we wanted was a quick check up and some meds for the poor dear. Luckily a New Vet on Pine Lakes was kind enough to see him for free. Stay away from these creeps. Donate your money to PINE LAKES ANIMAL HOSPITAL. They took Telli in for us

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I was really happy with Flagler Hamane Society. In August of 2008 My boyfriend now husband bought me a Hound puppy named Hennessey. They gave me a referall for 1 free Vet visit at any of the local Vet offices and highly recomended that I take her with in the irst week of getting her, also when I had gotten her home I knowticed that she had kennell cough and they had me come in to pick up some med. to take care of the problem. Unfortunatly she got really sick in April of 2010 and passed away but we didn't realize she was sick until it was way too late. When I found out she was sick I made phone calls to the Flagler Humane Society andthe kept in touch with me as often as I needed them for their advise until the day she passed away. We found out she was sick when she wouldn't eat or drink anything and before that she had no symptoms of anything being wrong, unfortinalty by the time she showed any symptoms she was gone within four days. We will miss her greatly!!!!!

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Highly recommend the Flagler Humane Society they do Great work. I have never been disappointed with the Humane Society. They love the animals and have the up most respect to getting them adopted to loving families. My family and I adopted two WONDERFUL cats and we love them so much!! But so does the shelter, in fact I ran into one of the employees -or- volunteers last month, she remembered me and my cat Sam. I adopted him almost a year ago and she still remembered us! The shelter really cares about the well being of our new family members. The Flagler Humane Society adds so much to this community, Thank you so Much !! Jack and Sam's Mom.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! WELL LET'S START BY SAYING THEY ARE THE BIGGEST JOKE AROUND. WE ADOPTED A KITTEN ON 9/18/08 AND UNFORTUNATELY I'M WRITTING THIS BECAUSE SHE PASSED YESTERDAY. MITTENS WAS ONLY 9 WKS OLD. ON FRIDAY WE TOOK HER BACK TO THEM BECAUSE SHE WAS SICK LITTLE DID WE KNOW HOW SICK. THEY TOLD US IT WAS AN UPPER RESPITORY INFECTION AND GAVE US MEDICINE BUT IT DIDN'T WORK. MITTENS WAS FROM A LITTER OF 6 SO IF ANYONE HAS ADOPTED A KITTEN IN THE LAST 2 WKS PLEASE TAKE THE TO THE VET. A.S.A.P.. I HAVE CALLED CHANNEL 13 AND THEY WILL BE OUT THERE TOMMOROW TO INVESTAGATE. WE WERE THERE TODAY AND I HAVE TO SAY THEY WEREN'T HELPFUL BY ANY MEANS AND THEY JUST LOOKED AT ME AS IF TO SAY THIS IS LIFE. THEY DIDN'T EVEN SAY THEY WERE SORRY FOR OUR LOSS. SO I'M TAKING IT AS FAR AS I CAN NOW TO PROTECT OTHER FAMILIES FROM GETTING ATTACHED TO FAMILY PETS THAT WON'T MAKE IT. IF ANYONE ELSE HAS ADOPTED A PET FROM THERE AND IT DIDN'T MAKE IT I'M SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS BUT PLEASE CALL CHANNEL 13 AND TELL THEM YOUR STORY.. NO ANIMAL DESERVES TO LIVE IN A PLACE THAT IS DIRTY OR STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN. TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A STAND AND HOPEFULLY SAVE A FEW OF THE ANIMALS THIS PLACE HOUSES. PASS THIS ON AND WARN PEOPLE NOT TO ADOPT FROM THE FLAGLER COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended We rescued our Doggy ( Sandy ) Shepard ,, from them in 2005 when we moved here. The staff then was so nice to us, and Sandy has been our baby since then. We have now bought our mini pin ( Captain which thinks hes Sandy"s boyfriend its so cute. But anyways The Flagler Humane Society is the best place to get a cat or dog that you will know they have been cared for and screened to make sure there friendly enough to be a part of your family...Good Job you guys. keep up the good work

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Shelter staff is very nice. Animals are great too. They ALL need homes. We adopted a cat from there, and he's one of the joys of our life. If you want a pet, go to this place and adopt one. You'll be treated great, and you'll get a great pet. Our pet is a member of our family, and I'll surely adopt from Flagler Humane Society again!

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I have adopted 4 pets from this shelter and plan to adopt more in the future. Myan was a dog who was dumped twice at the shelter and they have her a 3rd chance, not heard of very much at animal shelters. She has not only proven to be an all around great dog, but protects my family and is excellent with the kids. I also got 2 cats from there. And lastly, Willow, my very special case, abused, neglected, and dumped on the streets, she had been adopted by neighbor and ran away, they gave her up due to her problems, was too scared to approach anyone, but the shelter helped me catch her and then let me adopt her! It if wasn't for their help, Willow would have been dead. And Willow is a GREAT, VERY SMART dog! And if it wasn't for their faith in Myan, that she was a good dog, she would have been put to sleep. They try so hard to help both animals and people. Most shelters would have given up on both those dogs, but they didn't! Adopt and save a life! And remember, they have small animals too!
