Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware!     Nobody seems to care about this store, especially the manager. E-mailing cooperate is forwarded to the manager. Just try the port orange store one....managers picture and phone number everywere...shelves fully stocked. Checking out is easy....many registers open!!

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware!     The store has birds in it. Last night I was the unlucky recipient of a nice pile of bird droppings. Landed right on my wrist as I was carrying my groceries to the ONE line open for check-out. This place is a joke, a disgusting joke. Will never set foot in there again.

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk     Let me count the ways I despise this multinational...wait, there are too many to count! Why can't I stay away though? My cheap nature draws me in, and I get burned everytime. First of all, you people that stand in the middle of the freaking isles should be shot. HAVE SOME COMMON COURTESY. My favorite, however, is the two women blocking both lanes with their carts, standing there gabbing. No, I'm not being a chauvinist...males do not speak to eachother when we shop. We have an action plan complete with strategies, avoidance maneuvers, and mapped out routes. I will likely post more on this later...my blood is already boiling thinking about the next trip to this abomination.

As Expected - OK to Recommend     I too do not like shopping in walmart. but unfortunatly they are the only game in town.I have recently discovered an alternative.Instead of me going into Walmart, I started using a shopping and delivery service called mypropershopper.com.I went to their website registered ordered all of my groceries and it was delivered right to my house. At Last, no more waiting on those long lines. The twenty bucks service charge is worth every penny.I have already used this service several times, and have been satisfied every time. This the only reason I give Walmart 3 stars.Try this new and ingenious way of grocery shopping,I've recommeded them to my family and friends, and now they use this service.try it once and you will be hooked. You wont be sorry. Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware!     Called Pharmacy Department for a simple Yes or No answer. Was put on hold for 16 minutes until I gave up. Called Walgreens after and got my answer immediately.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware!     This evening around 8:30 PM My Wife, Daughter, and I went to WalMart to buy just a few things. We picked out 2 bar stools, a dvd with George Carlin (my wife had some interest after watching a tribute to him the other night), and a new toaster oven. So we proceeded to the check out, everything was fine until the cashier insisted on opening the toaster oven. I asked what are you doing? She stated " I have to make sure everything is inside". I was so insulted by the bold face lie and asked for the manager. After it was opened to me it was not new anymore. It felt like I was being profiled in WalMart! My wife and I enjoy opening brand new things in the comfort of our home. Needless to say, I pulled $1200.00 out of my pocket and told the Manager my thoughts and she agreed that we also search large boxes at check out if we feel something is suspicious. I was angry & told them after they opened the box and went through it to keep everything and I went to Lowes and bought what I needed.

As Expected - OK to Recommend     This is such a busy store, they have a tough time keeping it stocked. Despite how busy the store is, checking out seemed quick and painless.

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk     WALMART IS A DISASTER!! For 4 years now I have tried very hard not to enter Palm Coast Walmart for any reason.. Unfortunately, the drive to St.Aug-Target is a tad-inconveinient, so there have been the times that this BUSY mom, and business person has to bite the bullet and go into that God forsaken store. 9x out of 10, I'll walk in the door, observe the check out lines backed up 7/8 or more people deep(the few registers they have opened)I'll get discusted and walk out.Off I go to Publix or staples, drive the extra distance and be willing to pay more for what I wanted.I am a very patient person, but when it comes to this hap-hazard estabishment, "Jobe" would have lost his patience with this place!!I feel sorry for the employees who feel they are stuck-Many are very nice and do what they can. The issue is with the management team that has been allowed to slide by corporate because their numbers are probably good. Well not a moment too, soon My favorite store has arrived!!SUPER TARGET

As Expected - OK to Recommend     I, like most busy moms, like a good Walmart. The issue with this one is they are ALWAYS packed! It's a zoo all of the time so don't even try it with your kids! I'm so glad the new Super Target is opening soon on 100. This walmart is too small for how residential Palm Coast has become!

As Expected - OK to Recommend     I have to say I am a Walmart fan, but never have I seen such a store that lacks in so much! I know the cart retrievers are very kind, but I hope they did not make one of them a manager! I will give this Walmart great points on the NEW look and organization even though there are a few backwards decisions. The main thing that has always got me about this particular Walmart is the fact that they never carry enough of what sells most, they are always out! Does not logic say: You will make more sales if you carry tons more of the item that sells out the most? What is the mentality here? I went for almost a year until I found the canned clams (not the only items) on the shelf, everytime I went they were gone! I am starting to think restaurants must be buying all of them..LOL! Come on Walmart...this is the only one I have known to have issues.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware!     I WAS HURT IN WALMART AFTER I ASKED A WORKER FOR HELP. THEY NEVER HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE THEIR TO HELP, IT IS REALLY SAD. I WISH I COULD FIND THE MAN WHO HELPED ME BACK IN DEC 2006 TO THANK HIM.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware!     I posted this under a regular forum also: I went to WalMart today to pick up only a few items. I know, this is rare for most people who shop at Walmart. I know it doesn't do any good to complain most of the time, but I just have to get this off my chest! I have many complaints about our home-town WalMart not-so-super Center.... #1 When I asked the woman at the door if they have shopping baskets, she looked at me like was crazy and said "We don't carry those", whatever that means. #2 The parking lot is always an absolute nightmare #3 The entire store is torn up...I know, I know, they are supposedly remodeling (didn't they just "remodel" last year?) #4 The store is always cluttered with so much junk in the aisles it's impossible to push a cart around. Exactly why they need to "carry" shopping baskets! #5 Selection and availability of merchandise is lacking to say the least. #6 The checkouts are always very long, even the express lanes. Hopefully they install new checkouts w/ the remod

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended     Oh my God what is wrong with you people? If Walmart left town you would be screaming bloody murder!!!! They are one of the largest employers in town. Palm Coast would shrivel up and die. They have the best prices on many items. Get a life!!!! I was surprised to see the new Super Walmart going up on 100. There seems to be a Walmart off every other I-95 exit.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware!     What is it with this place. Although i have complained ,i have seen no improvement at all. What is upsetting is they are stocking shelves in the middle of shopping rush and blocking the isle's which are small to begin with. They should be stocking shelves at night period! Yes i have been there in the middle of the night and i see no one stocking shelves and the shelves are bare. Also the store is always out of everything you need. I have also complained about this too. While they always assure me the problem will be fixed, it never is fixed. Some of the store employee's and cashiers are rude. Look at you like you have lost your mind when you ask them for help with something!!!! This store is a BIG JOKE!!! Alot of people cant wait for Super Target to open and frankly i cant wait either. I will be emailing this to the corperate office for i have had it with this place!

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk     This store has gone steadily downhill since we moved here 3 years ago. The availability of items has gone down. The cleanliness has gotten worse. Always a major wait at the deli and the checkouts. The pharmacy is terrible. It's always "let's see how slow I can move." Only a few checkout people that I go to, since I'm tired of sourpusses of new employees. The turnover in employees has been tremendous. The employees who have stayed aren't happy, and it trickles down to the customers. Can't really blame them, though. Something needs to be done about the general manager and owner. As usual, big companies don't care about their employees. Instead of keeping the good ones and keeping them happy, they feel there's someone else waiting for the job. Unfortunately, we, as customers, suffer. There are still a few great people there, though-you just have to remember to appreciate them!

RATED 4 Star Rating - Well Done - Would Use Again (4 stars) by SIRENGARG on Nov-29-2006 Report Abuse
Well Done - Would Use Again     I went on Black Friday and was there at 5AM...being a non-morning person in a crowded store of people who shop like they drive...I was NOT a happy camper to begin with. And then I am bogged down by giant smiles and wonderfully helpful associates at Walmart....did they hire the people from their commercials for one day only??? I had employees who refused to let me pick up a think and insisted they helped me. They told me exactly where something was. And were generally just shiny, happy people. For a person who think perky morning people should be shot, they actually were like a cup of coffee for me. For that day at least. Most of the time, many associates aren't extreemly helpful. There was one girl in the furniture department who was great. Toys and electronics people are very helpful.

RATED 1 Star Rating - Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware! (1 stars) by MIDWEST_GURL on Nov-29-2006 Report Abuse
Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware!     1 in 50 people who work at this Walmart are helpful (the lady who works in toys with the long braid is the only nice employee I've encountered there). The rest operate as if you do not exist, and treat you as if you are a general annoyance to their existence as a cog in the Walmart wheel. Shelves are chronically empty, the store is filthy, the aisles are littered with crates stacked to the ceiling which you have to dodge with your cart as you weave in and out of the throngs of diehard Walmartians. Walmart used to be very lax about returns, now that they have put all the Kmarts into bankruptcy and narrowed down the Mom and Pop competition, Walmart is suddenly cinching in its belt and pawing through every little nit on your receipt and making you trek to this department and that department to get your hard earned money back. I hate this store!!! If our city gov't could remove its head from their bottoms and allow commerce into the PC corridor, we would have a Super Target already!

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk     This is the filthiest, nastiest Wal Mart I have ever been in. Floors are always dirty, they never have the groceries that you need, shelves are always empty. The bathrooms are totally disgusting, you can never find a clean stall in there. They painted the outside, you would think they could clean-up the inside. There is definately NO PRIDE in this store from the staff !!

RATED 5 Star Rating - Top of the Line - Highly Recommended (5 stars) by BRANDON LOSTWAT on Sep-20-2006 Report Abuse
Top of the Line - Highly Recommended     I have a different view of this wal-mart then most above..I have had to wait in line at this store at times but they are real quick to get help to get the lines down. For the most part when I go into the store there are lots of cashiers ready to take care of the customers. The associates in this store are very friendly and helpful to me when I am in the store. One thing you have to remember is that there are a lot of people that shop in this store daily.I have on occasion had to talk with some of the management at this store and they have done everything in the world to help me out. The store manager Leon is a great guy and treats his associates very well. I love to shop at wal-mart and don't know what I would do without it. It is a great company and although a lot of people are quick to put it down, They do shop there also.I live in Palm Coast and like it a lot but a lot of the people here are very rude and have no patients at all.. My suggestion for them people, " Go back up north"

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware!     Do not go to the Car Service Dept. I had both of my front tires repaired after a nail damaged each of them at Wal-Mart. The clowns at Wal-Mart, who were yelling and cussing loudly, fixed the flats, but failed to correctly balance my tires. After that, whenever I drove over 55 MPH, the wheel shook violently. I believed it was the alignment, so learning my lesson, I took it to Tire Kingdom. The alignment would have been $75, but the man at T.K. told me that it was probably the balancing, which cost $20 for the two tires. They ended up inspecting all of my tires and my brakes and gave me their opinion on the overall condition of the tires and the brakes. All of this was done courteously and in a timely fashion. Needless to say, when I went to Wal-Mart, the manager told me that his "mechanics" should have marked where that tires came off in relation to the balancing weights, insinuated that the balancing problem was already there and refused to listen to me at all. Boycott W.M.!

As Expected - OK to Recommend     First I HATE Walmart, all Walmarts! This one is no different then most. Yes I shop at the one in Palm Coast when I need to, probably once a month... I believe the express at Walmart says 20 items or less?? Not sure why the person below me is complaining about someone having 16 items? The store is always a mess, just like all Walmarts... The prices for the most part are about average. The people that work at Walmart for the most part are average, some nice, some not. This Walmart in Palm Coast is average....but it is all we have..for now...

Well Done - Would Use Again     The person below me had what they were coming to them. It's an express lane for a reason! 10 ITEMS OR LESS!! Not 11 items or even 16. It's people like this that make walmart employees dislike their jobs! Shame on you for breaking the express lane rule! GO WAL-MART!

Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk     I am a walmart lover persay..........But this store needs some improvement. The shelves are empty and the people are rude. I went to the express lane to checkout having only 16 items, I know because the cashier counted them out loud before starting ring them up. It was rude and embarassing. I only go there now if i have to. I go to albertsons or out of town.

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware!     Anyone who knows me knows that Wal-Mart is one of my favorite stores but the Palm Coast Wal-Mart is the worst one I have ever been to. I refuse to shop there if I don't have to. I will either travel to the one in St. Augustine or the one in Ormond. The lines are way too long. For some reason they never have enough cashiers working. After the last experience I refuse to buy fruit from them. I bought a container of strawberries and in less than a day they had mold on the inside (which I discovered after eating most of one of the strawberries). The meat doesn't last long either and the milk is expired before the date listed. The last time I was really upset when I was waiting a really long time in line then another cashier opens right where I was standing and instead she takes the lady behind me even though I was stnading right there she never once bothered to say she was opening. None of the workers ever seem to know anything about their departments. Terrible store SHOP AT OWN RISK!!!

RATED 2 Star Rating - Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk (2 stars) by KILMERJEN on Apr-13-2006 Report Abuse
Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk     I am not at all pleased with this store. The staff needs to learn about customer service. I drive to port orange to shop at super target. Atleast the people there give you the time of day. and dont seem to be put out if you ask for help. Hope with all this construction that we get a target. The store is just very unclean and dirty. And walmarts customer service is the most awful I have ever seen. My husband works at a grocery store. If they ever act liked that they would be fired. You just cant treat customers that way....

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware!     THE WORST WALMART, OR ANY STORE, FOR THAT MATTER, FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE TO THE FILTH OF THE PLACE. AND PLEASE, 30 CHECKOUTS, ONLY 5 OPEN??? GIVE US A BREAK, YOUR PRICES ARENT THAT GREAT!! WE NEED TARGET!!!!

RATED 2 Star Rating - Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk (2 stars) by SIRENGARG on Oct-26-2005 Report Abuse
Below Expectations - Try at Own Risk     Mary Ann of customer service is the most HORRIBLE, RUDE employee of any Wal-Mart I have EVER met. I brought my reciept in to return a scratched DVD. I had opened the DVD right after I bought it and found it was loose and scratched. Not uncommon. She was rude, inconsiderate and all out nasty! I asked if I could upgrade the DVD...from the full screen to the MORE EXPENSIVE double disc. She must already think its Halloween because she was a WITCH with a capital B. I am calling the district manager to make a formal complaint about her behaviour because she was no customer service. My most horrible experience at WalMart ever! Until I am satisfied with some action the manager takes, I'll pay the gas money to go to Target in Daytona/St Augustine. I deserve to be treated better then that! If you need to go to customer service and see a woman named Mary Ann, don't bother. She'll just be as unproffessional and inconsiderate to you. Even if you have your bloody reciept!

Unacceptable - Watch Out, Buyer Beware!     I've been to numerous Walmart stores and the Palm Coast Walmart has got to be the worst I've ever been in. Floors are filthy, lines are long because it seems, the cashiers (or most of them) don't care or can't figure out what they're doing. For the most part the prices are only pennies less then other grocery stores. The selection of merchandise is very slim. I guess my biggest complaint is the cleanliness. I won't even buy any produce in this store because of the filth all over. Lately, most of my food purchases are from publix or winn dixie. At least they have things on sale once in a while, which beats out Walmart's prices. Yes, I still shop here but, only for certain things, not regularly. I'm hoping for a Super Target soon. At least the Super Target is really clean! This place is still by far the dirtiest I've been in. Has anyone even seen the floor in the rest rooms? OK, KIt's now July, 23, 2006. Does anything change here? Stll grossly disgusting!!!!! Filthy. New health Dept?

As Expected - OK to Recommend     I'm not giving this store a bad rating because I do shop there and their prices are lower most times however, the old cliche, "you get what you pay for" applies here. (This is in reference to grocery)

Well Done - Would Use Again     Walmart is always great to shop in. Love those low prices. They don't even yell if you accidently knock a bunch of stuff on the floor. I am in there a couple of times a week and do my grocery shopping there too.
