I was told they were backlogged and it would be several days before they could come out I phoned Palm Coast Heating and Air. They came out the same day and within 24 hours had replaced my old system with a Trane high - efficiency unit. After the new unit was installed, I was pleased to see lower electrical bills. Since 2006 Palm Coast Heating and Air has maintained my heating and A/C unit. The service personnel are timely, courteous and have taken good care of my heating and cooling equipment.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Top notch company. From initial phone call to office for info and meeting Larry for estimate at the time specified and place. Everyone one was cordial and professional. On time and left the place clean. They explained all changes that where made to current code. Unit was 15 years old and new "extras" such as work done in breaker box inside and outside were preformed without extra cost to me. Excellent. Well done!

As Expected - OK to Recommend This system gets its name from the way it uses the difference between the outdoor air temperature and the indoor air temperature to heat (or cool) a home. During the summer, the air-source heat pump functions as an air conditioner; during the winter, it runs in reverse to provide heat. Top of the Line - Highly Recommended We used to use another quality AC company but they are no longer in PC. Palm Coast heating & air was recommended to us. We have had Rich Rossi out to our homes on a few seperate occasions for various repairs. Rich has been reliable, and honest in only doing repairs that were necessary, going above and beyond to always ensure we received quality service. When we needed some electrical work done so Rich could continue his AC repair work, he gave us a fine recommendation in ZIP electric. As soon as the electrical work was complete, Rich was back to finish his work. I'm sure all the technicians are high quality at PC heating & air, but if you need to request someone, ask for Rich Rossi. THANKS Rich!!!

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Came home from work to find the A/C was not working and it was 92 degrees in the house - our poor doggies were panting and it felt like an oven in the house. My husband called Palm Coast Heating and Air Conditioning as recommended by our neighbor and within 30 minutes Doug was at our house diagnosing and fixing the problem! We were very pleased both with the quick response and the upbeat, friendly service! Doug is GREAT and had us cooling off quickly! What a great guy, I'm usually very uncomfortable with new people in my home, but Doug is very personable and friendly. Once again I needed and entire new unit. Inside and out. Trane is by far the best and I wanted to hire a good reputable company that will give me great service and stand by the warranty. I had called FPL and had them come to my home and inspect my ducks and windows and they recommended Palm Coast Heating and Air as well as my neighbor who also hired PCHA. I then had called four other local companies for estimates. Right off the bat I felt very comfortable with Doug and his experience in the business. He assured me that some of my estimates were very pricey and that I was being charged for work unneeded. Out of getting five estimates Palm Coast Heating and Air beat all the competitors prices and some literally by thousands! Now that I found the best price I was concerned about the service and workmanship. Let me say it was perfect. The workers we right on time, polite, and showed that they can do there jobs with ease! Doug showed up to make sure everything was going fine and I assured him his workers were fantastic. In all my 30 years of being a home owner, I have never been this pleased with the cost and service as well as kindness. I recommend Palm Coast Heating and Air to all. That’s how I would explain Palm Coast Heat and Air to anyone who asked. And how long do you think you have to go without heat or air when you’re A/C is down? Well if you use Palm Coast Heat and Air, your up and running the same day. Now what about when you A/C unit is no longer functional? Well how about as long as it takes to fill out the permit papers. Is that quick enough for you? That’s right…when you need a new A/C unit, they fill out all the necessary paperwork that the city and or county requires for the permit. No sooner than the municipality stamping the permit, Palm Coast Heat and Air is delivering your new unit and installing it the same day. This very cold winter, I needed to replace my A/C and Heat Pump unit. I used Palm Coast Heat and Air because of prior experiences I had with them. They did not disappoint me. They met with us, explained what to expect in changing out the equipment to the modern day refrigerant r410a system and what time the guys would arrive. When the installers arrived on time, and explained what they would be doing, and including what time to expect them to be finished, I was very impressed. My parents were relieved and pleased with the finished result. It looked like a quality job, and the guys cleaned up after themselves as well. My parents were glad I stepped in to help them with this task of replacing the heating and air equipment, but most of all they were extremely pleased at my choice of contractors. Palm Coast Htg & Air are a Trane Comfort Specialist Dealer which includes that they keep current on training of product and code changes with all employees and that they represent Trane in a knowledgeable and professional manner. I would recommend this company.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I honestly forgot how long I have been using Palm Coast Heat & Air, but I can certainly remember why I continue to use them. Dough is a honest and experienced businessman. His staff are all great to work and communicate with. Just recently, one of my houses had an A/C unit that was throwing a breaker. I called PCH&A and one hour later a service tech was there. He diagnosed the problem as a burned "hard start" but also told me that the compressor was on its way out. I instructed him to get the A/C running for the tenant and we would see how long the unit would last. He had the part right on the truck, so the repair was completed in less than an hour. About a week later the unit went. Dough (the owner of the company) came out on a Saturday and checked the unit. He priced a new unit, credited the money I had already spent on the repair from a week ago, and charged nothing for his Saturday service. The tenants are now enjoying a brand new A/C unit with a higher efficiency rating. Thanks.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended When we came home from my son's high school orientation, the house was hot even though the air handler was running. I went outside and the compressor and compressor fan were silent. Not knowing a whole lot about central AC units, I got online and searched around for info. Since both the compressor and the compressor fan were not running, I had a glimmer of hope that maybe it was something other than the compressor that had failed but I still had that multi-thousand dollar doubt in the back of my mind when I call Palm Coast Heating and Air the next morning. Doug showed up on time that afternoon with a friendly face and quality service. Within 5 minutes he had diagnosed the problem as a burned out dual capacitor. He informed me that he had replaced hundeds of these as it is common for them to burnout (from power surges, etc.). Despite mine being an oddball model, he had the part on the truck and had my unit up and running in no time, all for a great price. Thanks Doug!

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Have used Palm Coast Heating and Air since 1997 and consider them our "Top Choice." Recently had to call them on a Friday evening, and they arrived within the hour. Our old A/C unit was finally ready to be replaced. It was "fixed" enough to last the night (at no charge), and our new unit was installed Saturday morning. Currently, they have one rate, no matter when the service takes place. We were very pleased with the price, that automatically included a rebate, and also appreciated the tax refund information. The people at Palm Coast Heating and Air are prompt, knowledgeable and have provided excellent service for many years. We would highly recommend them to family, friends and neighbors.

When my A/C malfunctioned in the middle of June, the heat in my home was unbearable for my wife, my 3 daughters, and I. For days I tried to fix the problem – but had to call a professional. Their same day response to my call for help and the excellent service I received exceeded my expectations. My A/C was restored in less than an hour - AT A REASONABLE COST! Top of the Line - Highly Recommended A couple of Sundays ago during a very hot afternoon our A/C stopped working, not knowing who to call i turned to the internet and found the number for Palm Coast Heating and Air. Withing 2 hours of calling their emergency #, they had Larry here to see what the problem was. Turns out my 12 year old system was on it's last leg. He did a temporary fix and informed us about pricing for replacements. I called around on Monday but found no better deals. I called Palm Coast Heating and Air back on monday and they scheduled a replacement installation on my next day off which was wednesday. Larry came back at 8am wednesday and did the install in a few hours. They replaced the outside and inside unit, It looks like it was here from when the house was built. He kept the palce clean and did a great job getting us cool again. I would highly recomend these folks to anyone.

Doug Jahn their owner personally came over, he is a very responsible person and knows how to run a business. He fixed everything and gave me cheap prices and i was extremely pleased with there service. he was a very knowledgeable man and he knew what to do at my house. Overall the best air conditioning business in town!!!!!!!

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Thank God for Palm Coast Air, not knowing anybody in town when our A/C broke down we called another local company out of the phone book and the owner of that company sent his son out to repair our A/C he then informed us our compressor was "shot" and we needed to replace the entire system for over $6000 dollars, on top of that they charged me $90 dollars for a service call. We were more than sceptical so we wanted to get a second opinon, we found Palm Coast Air in the Mint Magazine and they had a $29.95 coupon for first time customes like us. After checking with the Flagler Chamber and the BBB. we called Palm Coat Air and they sent their service manager Richie out, within 10 minuits he found the problem and replaced the capacitor for the compressor,the unit has been runinng like a top, all for under $100 dollars. Honest companys like Palm Coast Air are hard to find these days, belive me when our system does need to be replace Palm Coast Air are the ones we are going to contract with.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended Palm Coast Heating & Air Conditioning is with out a doubt the most reliable air conditioning company in Flagler County, hands down! We called them over the weekend because our air went out Saturday night at 11:30 PM Doug the owner, was out to help us within 1 hour, his prices are more than fair and the service is outstanding. We have been using Palm Coast Air for over 20 years now and would not use anyone else, by the way Doug was nice enought to lower his semi annual maintenance agreement prices to $100.00 per year to help his customers out during these tough economic times, and for us it could have not come at a better time because we are on a fixed income, how many air conditioning companys have done that for their customers, probably none. Doug's company is not the biggest in the county, however they were voted the best around by the News-Tribune in 2008. Top of the Line - Highly Recommended We were using another company when our neighbor recommended Palm Coast Heating & Air since our air conditioner quit working on a Sunday night around 10:30 pm. We called their emergency number and they arrived within 30 minutes and fixed it. We cannot say enough good things about them. That was nine years ago and their work has always been consistently great - good pricing, knowledgeaboe, friendly and helpful. But most important fair and honest.

Well Done - Would Use Again I previously used another company in town. They put a system in for me in 2005 and just recently I had a problem and they came out and told me it was not repairable and I needed to replace the system again. I was angry. I called Palm Coast Heating & Air and they came out same day to do a second opinion free of charge. It turned out they were able to repair my system and it is running fine. Needless to say I am a customer of theirs from now on. Shame on my previous company for trying to rip me off. I recommend Doug and his tech's for honest and fair service.

Top of the Line - Highly Recommended I just purchased a home in town and want to change out my a/c unit. I saw Palm Coast Heat & Air in the Mint Magazine and gave them a call. They were here same day and gave me various price ranges and seers and explained all the rebates I could get and also explained which ones qualified for the tax credit for the obama plan. They were great and I purchased my system from them. Would definately recommend this company.

As Expected - OK to Recommend Made arrangements from out-of-state for appointment just two weeks from scheduled trip to PC home. The fella arrived right on time and explained everything he was doing to the airconditioning system. Was neat and finished in a timely manner. Would recommend and use them again.
